What have you learned from this online class? Describe your learning experience briefly.
I have learned about many helpful software programs that I can use in the classroom. These programs were interesting to me and the teacher was helpful in explaining the steps in the process.
What were your weak and strong points? Explain.
I feel that my weaknesses the concept mapping because I could not download the program to my computer and had to download it to a family computer. I do feel this program is beneficial in the classroom and would definately recommend it to other teachers. I feel my strong point was the web site and only because I feel this is a great idea for a teacher as it would be a great way for parents to stay involved with their students.

How did you like the interaction between you and your peers, you and instructor? Explain in details. Provide examples if necessary.
I feel that this class provided you as much oppurtunity as needed to stay involved with peers and the group assignment was a great way to stay active with the peers assigned to the group. The discussions were helpful in that everyone was able to gain new information and learn from each other. Mrs. Wang is a great teacher and was always willing to give advice and help in any way. She would send emails after grading an assignment and tell you what she felt the student should do. This class could have been much more difficult but the teacher was willing to help in any way.
Reflect on the communication tools (individually) used in this class: email, discussion board, chat room, Voice Board, Live Classroom, and Blog. Which tool did you use most, why? From your experience, explain the advantages and disadvantages of each communication tool. Provide examples if necessary.
I enjoyed the blog as I was able to read everyones post.

Web Tools

This assignment was difficult at first but I followed each step given and it became more understanding to me. I feel the test maker was the most enjoyable assignment and would be very useful in the classroom.The track star was interesting to me as well. I feel many teachers do not know about these free programs and they would be helpful in the classroom and teachers could use the track programs and have their students to work on projects.

Google Group Assignment

This assignment was interesting in that we had to create our own group and become a member. I liked the idea that we all had topics and were able to each share our opinions. I feel that we worked close as a group and were able to gain information from each other. Teachers can use this free site to work together and share their thoughts and opinions. Teachers can also use this site and have students work in groups on as assigned project. Students should be aware of these types of free programs that are available to them.

Designing the web site was great. I will definitely use this tool in my classroom. I think that this is useful for parents to use at home if they have a computer available to use as well. I also think teachers should use the website to learn from each other as other teachers view your site they can learn new ideas. This is a great way to stay in contact with parents and students. Teachers could also have thier students design their own website. I think this would be fun for students to have their own website.

Concept Mapping

I enjoyed learning about and using the inspiration program. I feel that this program could be beneficial in the classroom and teachers should be introduced to the program. I think students could also enjoy the program when working on class projects and assignments.

My Family Video

This was a fun and interesting assignment. I know how to make a video now and plan on putting one on a disk for my family. At first the video was a little frustrating but I broke each step down and was able to understand the assignment much better.
