My Life

Hello!!! My name is Heather Brown. I am 28 years old and a single mom to a four year old boy, Maddux and a two year old little girl, Rilee. I have known since third grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I began my college education in 2000 and decided in 2004 that I would get married and return to college in one year. Well we had a surprise (Maddux) so that pushed my education back further. Here I am now!!! I am a sixth grade media (library) assistant at Oxford Middle School. I love my job. I have always wanted to teach K-3 grade but I am really enjoying the older kids. I plan to graduate in May of 2011 and can not wait to have my own classroom!!!!
